Aluminum Canopies of Texas, LLC (ACT) was founded in 2023 by Cole Sustaire and Michael Morlock , owners of Exo Tech Construction, LLC, in Bryan-College Station. Taylor Blackwell was brought on to serve as the General Manager and run day-to-day operations from sales/estimating to project management. Prior to joiningACT, Taylor served as a project manager for a Houston based Construction Manager overseeing projects ranging from $10M to $230M, for clients such as Texas A&M University System, Sam Houston State University, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and Houston Methodist. ACT was born on the idea of delivering on client’s needs, providing first class workmanship, and being a trusted resource for General Contractors and Construction Managers alike. With Cole and Michael’s experience owning and operating a turnkey steel fabrication and erection business, paired with Taylor’s experience in the general contracting industry, ACT offers a unique blend of service and 25+ years of knowledge in the construction industry. Current fabrication operations are run out of Exo Tech’s fabrication shop and will utilize Exo Tech’s experienced welders, fabricators, and erectors to provide turnkey aluminum canopy and shade structure services.
